Want to do bootcamp with me? Really!!

I think my problem is sweating in front of other people. And I'm not really into being yelled at...I'm prone to yell back.
Are you signing up?

A and I try to go for walks after dinner every night now. It's not that great for exercise, but I get to talk to her about her day and sort of reconnect.

If you want to go for walks sans kids, let me know, I'm always up for it. I was trying to train for a 5K but it turns out that's hard and such, and I haven't made much progress. I still can only run a mile or so. I guess if I did it more than once or twice a week, I'd be better, but whatever.

Also, one of my friends told me about this: http://walking.about.com/gi/dynamic/offsite.htm?zi=1/XJ&sdn=walking&zu=http%3A%2F%2Fwomenshealth.gov%2Fwhw%2Fwoman%2Findex.cfm
The Health Week is over but it's still a good idea.

I love it..."Health week is over". I know that's not what you meant but that's how I hear it. I do think I should get moving (physically) because the box of Lo Mein and the bag of Chantilly cookies are starting to whisper sweet nothings.
Hey you and Sandra can run together! I'd just hold you back. Even though I can't run, I can meet you for a smoothie after!

It's a date! I mean, except for the Sandra part -- I think she could probably run me under the table. (Okay, yes, that's a bizarrely mixed metaphor, but you get the idea...)

But a girlfriend DOES love a good smoothie!

I am actually starting the YOU:On a Diet this week. Am going out to trader Joe's to get the food now...I already started the walking 30 mins a day last month and I think I see some muscle tone in my legs already (wishful thinking?) Anyway, I can't wait to get rid of the 20lbs I have gained since having kids. Ugh. YOU:On a Diet suggests partnering up with someone if you are interested.
