Jenn C.

I'm so sorry. It's so hard to let them go, isn't it?

Thank you Jenn. Yes, it's all very strange to think of her leaving. Of course, since I posted, she's decided to eat some food, just to make a melodramatic asshole out of me. Oh, that Smurf! Still a couple tricks up her sleeve!

I swear to god, if she doesn't die a natural death, I'll kill her with my bare hands.

Oh, I'm kidding. xoxo kitty.

Kris, again, you have made me laugh and cry at the same time.

Very sorry about Murphy.

Murphy's a good cat. She will take with her all the lessons from this life and the love you gave her, so that in her next life she will be a goddess with feline agility and have the knowledge to use "FUCK" and "COOTER" most effectively.

(Big Hugs.)

yes, laughing and crying at the same time. she's such a sweet little cat, and so lucky to have a Mom who gave her one home for so long.

Hi String,

It's been a while since I've checked out the blog. I've tried to call a few times but have not left messages (those prank calls, yeah... me). So, I was sad to see this about Smurf and since it was posted a few weeks ago I'm wondering if Murphy has pulled through or if she's off to Kitty Heaven. I'm not sure what cat your friend Alicia is referring to ("such a sweet little cat") as the Smurf I know had a sense of sarcasm and irony as deep as her owner. Ah, Smurf... what will I do without you? Sneaking up on me. Making me sneeze from yards away. And loving every minute of it. Even though we have a love/hate relationship, I will always respect you. If you didn't cause me to go into asthmatic, wheezing, itching, eye dripping fits every time I saw you I think we would have been good friends.
